Kerala’s Leader of the Opposition, V.D. Satheesan, is calling for the immediate removal of Additional Director General of Police, M.R. Ajith Kumar, due to ongoing investigations against him. Satheesan also criticized the special team formed by the Chief Minister to investigate the charges against Kumar, questioning their integrity. He demanded a CBI probe and warned of street agitations if his demands were not met. Satheesan accused the Chief Minister of shielding Kumar and his political secretary, alleging various wrongdoings including interference in criminal cases and misuse of power.
