Kerala Governor-CM spat shows no sign of reaching a detente

Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan is in a dispute with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan over the handling of gold smuggling and hawala racketeering proceeds. The lack of information has hindered Khan from taking action, as the government’s responses have been delayed and inadequate. Despite disagreements, Khan eventually signed an ordinance proposed by Vijayan’s officials, but holds the government responsible for any legal discrepancies.
