HML succeeds in reviving Wayanad plantations after landslides  

Harrisons Malayalam Limited (HML) has successfully revived the plantations in Wayanad following the devastating landslides in the Chooralmala region. The number of laborers on the tea estates in the hill district has increased from 5% to 40% in the past two months, thanks to the company’s efforts. HML also helped bring back local people who were under severe mental stress after the landslides that claimed over 230 lives. They provided counseling and support to the workers and organized medical camps and family gatherings to restore their income and livelihood. The company is working with the government to continue their efforts to bring the area back to its former glory.
