The Health department is warning people to protect themselves from the rising temperatures in many parts of the State by avoiding the sun between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. especially for vulnerable groups like the elderly, pregnant women, children, and those with chronic diseases. Dehydration, heat stroke, and other complications can occur with increasing atmospheric heat, so it is important to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Stay safe and take care of yourself during the hot weather.
