HC declines plea of Lawrence’s daughter

The Kerala High Court has ordered that the body of trade unionist M.M. Lawrence be handed over to the Government Medical College for medical education. His daughter had challenged this decision, wanting her father to have a customary burial at a church cemetery. However, two of his other children have decided to donate the body for medical education. The body is currently at the Government Medical College mortuary.
