Food Safety squads expose 16 unlicensed units in Kozhikode

Food safety officials in Kozhikode city have been cracking down on unlicensed food processing and distribution units in the area. After inspecting 383 shops in the last 10 days, 16 illegal operators were exposed and shut down, with fines imposed on others for safety violations. The special squads are taking this issue seriously, with hefty fines and potential legal action for those flouting safety regulations.
