Focus on research to be enhanced, says Minister

Minister R. Bindu emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing students’ job prospects and supporting research and academic initiatives. The curriculum for four-year undergraduate programs aims to bring about a comprehensive change in learning content. The focus on research activities on campuses will be strengthened, with around ₹30 crore allocated for expansion works at Maharaja’s College. The Minister inaugurated the renovated synthetic track and new computer lab at the college, which were funded by grants totaling ₹6.5 crore.
