The second edition of the classical dance festival named after Dr. Kapila Vatsyayan, a renowned scholar of Indian classical dance, will be held from Sept 22 to 26 at Bharat Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram. The festival will feature performances by nationally recognized artists, including Kathakali, Manipuri, Sattriya, Chhau, Odissi, Mohiniyattam, Kathak, Bharatanatyam, and Kuchipudi. It will also honor distinguished dance talents, pay tribute to dance legends, and showcase a documentary on the evolution of Indian dance. The festival will end with a cultural conference and the unveiling of the logo for the Kapila Young Talent Festival in May 2025.
