Union Minister Jitendra Singh unveiled an indoor air quality monitoring facility at Thiruvananthapuram airport, the first of its kind in India. Developed by CSIR-NIIST, the system called PavanaChitra is self-powered and capable of tracking various air quality parameters. Thiruvananthapuram International Airport Ltd. stated that this installation is a unique blend of art and technology, showcasing the commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all passengers.
