Excise raid yields black money haul

The Excise department in Kottayam has made a significant discovery of black money from an interstate bus, seizing ₹67 lakh from two locations on the same bus. One individual has been arrested in connection with the incident. The first seizure of ₹44 lakh was made near Erattupetta, with another ₹23 lakh found at Ponkunnam. This follows a previous operation where nearly ₹1 crore was confiscated. The district police are now increasing efforts to combat the influx of black money into the region.
