Three female gray langurs escaped from their enclosure at a zoo in Thiruvananthapuram due to heavy rains causing a bamboo pole to tilt. The zoo authorities confirmed that the langurs are still within the museum campus and are closely monitoring their movements. They are currently located in trees near the enclosure and zookeepers are trying to lure them back using fruits. The zoo is closed to visitors, allowing authorities to focus on safely returning the langurs. This is not the first time such an incident has occurred at the zoo, so extra care is being taken to prevent the langurs from leaving the premises. If they were to enter the city, capturing them would be a challenge.
