Ernakulam records three dengue deaths in January



Since January 1, four individuals in Ernakulam have died from dengue and leptospirosis, with three of the deaths attributed to dengue. The district has seen over 350 confirmed and suspected cases of dengue, with an average of nearly 13 cases daily. Measures are being taken to address the situation, including fogging and larvicide spraying in affected areas. Leptospirosis cases are also a concern, with nearly 36 cases reported in the same period. Efforts are being made to control the spread of these diseases through intensified remedial measures and surveillance in key areas.
