e-Health project kicks off at Kozhikode MCH

The State government is working on implementing an e-Health project in Kozhikode district to digitize healthcare services. Patients will receive Aadhaar-based Unique Health Identity Cards for easy access to government hospitals and online doctor appointments. Registration is currently available online at the Government Medical College Hospital, making the process smoother for patients. This project will eventually include doctor consultations, admissions, billing, and lab services. 64 hospitals in the district are already part of the scheme. While some technical issues caused delays in patient registration, the project aims to streamline healthcare services for the community.
