Deepavali Sangeethotsavam at Bekal Gokulam Goushala draws huge crowds

Kasaragod’s Deepavali Sangeethotsavam at Bekal Gokulam Goushala is a huge hit this year, drawing music lovers from all over with over 130 concerts in Carnatic, Hindustani, and fusion styles. The festival, running for 10 days, features renowned musicians like Pattabhi Ram Pandit, Krishnedra Wadekar, Kumari Kanyakumari, and more. Bekal Gokulam Goushala, started in 2010, now cares for 226 cows of various Indian breeds. They also support traditional arts and culture with the Parampara Vidyapeetam, which will honor K J Yesudas and others this year. Overall, it’s a celebration of music, culture, and heritage.
