CPI(M) slams expelled leader for demanding action against Mohanan

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) criticized former member V.P. Chandran for demanding action against party district secretary C.N. Mohanan. The party stated that Chandran was expelled for anti-party activities and engaging in corruption. They accused him of financial irregularities and protecting corrupt individuals. The party claimed Chandran owed the organization money and was involved in a financial fraud at a local bank. They also alleged he assaulted party leaders who challenged corruption. The party dismissed Chandran’s criticisms of Mohanan, stating he was now speaking about workers’ rights after leading anti-party activities.
