UDF convener M M Hassan criticized the CPI for not taking a strong stance against ADGP M R Ajith Kumar’s meeting with RSS leaders. He believes that the CPI should demand the ADGP’s suspension if they are truly upset. Hassan accused the CM of protecting the ADGP, who allegedly victimized the CPI in the Thrissur LS election. He stated that the CPI has become a victim of the CPM-RSS nexus and expressed disappointment in the party’s weak response to the situation. Hassan feels that the CPI has lost its identity by continuing to be part of the Left front and has never been so humiliated and betrayed before.
