Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president K. Sudhakaran, MP, stated that neither the Congress nor the United Democratic Front (UDF) is concerned about P.V. Anvar forming a new party. He mentioned that Anvar had distanced himself from the ruling coalition and had no ties with the UDF. Sudhakaran also highlighted the alliance between the CPI(M) and BJP, pointing out the support that led to the acquittal of BJP State president K. Surendran. He expressed confidence in the UDF’s preparedness for the upcoming by-elections and assured that there was no confusion regarding candidate selection. Sudhakaran said the UDF would announce candidates promptly once the election notification was issued.
