Concerns of all sections of people will be addressed before commencing land acquisition for Kochi Bypass: Minister

The Industries Minister assured that all concerns of the people will be addressed before starting land acquisition for the Kochi Bypass project. The alignment of the bypass will not be changed at this stage, but suggestions from the public regarding underpasses and entry/exit points will be considered. Steps will be taken to complete land acquisition and compensation distribution in a timely manner. Construction will start after acquiring 290 acres, with 15 bridges to be built. The project cost is estimated at ₹4,650 crore. Local representatives emphasized routing the alignment through less populated areas and ensuring proper compensation for landowners. More officials will be deployed for land acquisition.
