Soorya Krishnamoorthy, a cultural activist, has been organizing Vinayaka Chathurthi celebrations for 30 years at his residence in Thycaud. This year, he is showcasing his collection of 2000 artistic works featuring Lord Ganesha to the public on September 7. Along with the art exhibition, there will be musical recitals, a documentary screening, and a concert by playback singer Abhirami Ajai. Abhirami will be singing compositions of Bhakti saints from across India and providing explanations of the context behind each piece. The event aims to highlight the oneness and acceptance found in the diverse compositions of these saints. All programs are open to the public, and prasad will be offered to all visitors.
