Award presented to Sreekumaran Thampi

Renowned lyricist and filmmaker Sreekumaran Thampi was honored with the Legend of Honour award by the Malayalam Cine Technicians’ Association at their 30th anniversary celebration. The award included a cash prize, citation, and memento, and was presented to him by senior filmmaker Joshiy. Other industry veterans like Sathyan Anthikad, B. Unnikrishnan, Lal, and actor Aparna Balamurali were also present at the event. The day started with flag hoisting by Mr. Joshiy, followed by a symposium on changing film appreciation and cultural programs in the evening.
