Assault of Youth Congress workers by DYFI activists: Court asks police to investigate complaint against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan



A trial court has asked the police to investigate a complaint filed against Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan by the Ernakulam District Congress Committee president. The complaint alleges that the Chief Minister abetted a brutal attack on Youth Congress workers by Democratic Youth Federation of India activists through his speech. The court directed the police to determine if there is enough evidence to proceed with the complaint. The complainant also stated that the police were hesitant to take action against the Chief Minister.
