The Indian Air Force team that played a crucial role in the rescue operations following the landslides in Wayanad were honored at a special function at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. The team, consisting of 19 Air Force personnel including pilots from the Southern Air Command, were presented with mementos as a token of appreciation. The officials shared their challenging experiences during the rescue mission, describing it as unprecedented. The event was part of the Kerala State Formation Day celebrations and was attended by various authorities including the Chief Airport Officer and Defence PRO.
