ADGP M R Ajith Kumar has admitted to meeting RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale at a hotel in Thrissur in May 2023. He explained to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan that it was a personal visit. Additionally, he reportedly met RSS leader Ram Madhav at a hotel in Kovalam in Dec 2023 during the RSS Chintan Shivir. The meeting was kept confidential until opposition leader V D Satheesan revealed it. The investigation team is considering seeking the cancellation of anticipatory bail for CPM MLA M Mukesh, who is facing allegations of sexual assault, based on legal advice from the director general of prosecution.
