Actor Balachandra Menon gets interim anticipatory bail in sexual assault case

Actor Balachandra Menon has been granted interim anticipatory bail in a sexual assault case filed by an actress from Aluva. The court noted that the incidents allegedly occurred in 2007, but the complaint was filed only recently. Menon’s lawyer argued that the claims were false and fabricated, with a motive of extortion. Other actors accused in the case have also been granted bail. The case will continue to be heard in court.
