In Bengaluru, BJP legislator CP Yogeshwar accused HD Kumaraswamy of monopolizing candidate selection for the Channapatna assembly seat by-election, causing tension within the NDA alliance in the state. Yogeshwar wants to contest on an NDA ticket, but JD(S) claims the right to choose a candidate. Kumaraswamy denied favoring his son for the seat and emphasized the goal of winning to support PM Modi. Both NDA and Congress are rushing to finalize candidates for the Nov 13 bypoll. Kumaraswamy also addressed allegations of dues owed by PSUs KIOCL and HMT, offering to meet with the CM and forest minister to resolve the issue.
