A 59-year-old woman, who was a supervisor in the telecom department, was found dead by hanging in her office at the AAI premises in Chennai. She was upset over her brother’s recent death and was on night duty alone when the incident occurred. Her retirement was approaching in December. Colleagues noticed something was wrong when she didn’t start her usual morning routine. After failed attempts to contact her, the police were called. They found her body and are investigating the reasons behind her suicide, considering her recent loss.
