The Winter Session of Parliament will be held from November 25 to December 20, as announced by Union Minister Kiren Rijiju. During this session, the government aims to pass the Waqf Amendment Bill and possibly introduce the ‘One Nation One Election’ bill. Prime Minister Modi has emphasized the importance of this initiative for the country’s development. However, Congress has rejected the idea, stating that consensus among all members of Parliament is essential. The results of upcoming Assembly elections in Jharkhand and Maharashtra are also expected to be discussed during the session.
