We weep because we know poverty, says Deve Gowda

Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda, whose family has been criticized for shedding tears in public, stated that his family has inherited tears due to their humble beginnings and understanding of poverty. He expressed his determination to remove the Congress government in the State and highlighted his family’s empathy towards farmers and the poor. He also targeted Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar and defended his family against taunts from Congress leaders. The Chief Minister had questioned the family’s silence on sexual assault cases involving former MP Prajwal Revanna.
