Water Crisis: State Govt Set To Probe Lapses Of Kwa Officials | Thiruvananthapuram News



The state government in Thiruvananthapuram is investigating a delay in restoring water supply to 44 wards in the city. Education Minister V Sivankutty confirmed a detailed probe and promised strict action against responsible officials. Residents faced a severe water crisis for five days due to railway works. While water supply has partially resumed, high-altitude areas still lack sufficient water. Residents had to rely on expensive private water tanker services. The government is working to prevent future disruptions, with a high-level meeting scheduled to discuss necessary measures and guidelines for maintenance work.
