Vehicle Sales: Record 44,000 Vehicles Delivered in Gujarat on Dussehra Amid Festive Surge |

The Navratri festivities brought a lot of joy to car and two-wheeler dealerships in Gujarat after a slow business period in September. The festive season saw a significant number of bookings and deliveries, with approximately 44,000 vehicles delivered on Dussehra day alone across the state. Rural demand, along with offers and discounts from dealers, led to a rise in demand for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers. Dealers are optimistic that the losses from September will be recovered in October, thanks to the strong demand during the festivals. Luxury cars were also in good demand, and there were spot bookings for vehicles that will be delivered later due to the number plate rule. Overall, two-wheeler sales grew by 8-10% and car sales by 6-8% compared to last year’s Dussehra. Premium hatchbacks, SUVs, and multi-utility vehicles were the main drivers of sales growth.
