A tragic incident occurred at the north Chennai thermal power plant, where a man named Nagaraj lost his life after falling into an ash dumping canal. He was a truck driver from Jaganathapuram and had gone to load ash at the plant when he slipped and fell. Despite efforts from the fire and rescue services personnel, his body has yet to be retrieved. It was his first time visiting the plant, and his fellow workers raised the alarm when they couldn’t find him. Our thoughts are with his loved ones during this difficult time.
