Toothbrush turns life-threatening object to TN boy | Chennai News

A 14-year-old boy named R Deebesh had a toothbrush stuck in his throat after his brother playfully patted him on the back while he was brushing his teeth. The surgeons at Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences were able to successfully remove the toothbrush in a surgical procedure, saving the boy’s life. The procedure lasted about 45 minutes and the boy recovered quickly after the surgery. The doctors advised people to be careful while brushing their teeth to prevent accidents like this from happening.
