TISS has lifted its ban on the Progressive Students’ Forum (PSF) and modified its honor code to remove a pledge against engaging in political or anti-establishment activities. The ban was imposed on Aug 19 but was revoked after a review by the institute’s authority. PSF, a Left-leaning student group, has been active on campus since 2012. The new honor code urges students to refrain from actions that disrupt the academic environment. PSF welcomed the ban being lifted and vowed to continue advocating for students’ rights. The institute emphasized the importance of fostering a respectful and inclusive environment for all members.
