The university has also come under the jurisdiction of the union ministry of education, leading to stricter regulations. Some students and alumni, including Medha Patkar, feel that this code goes against constitutional rights and may escalate tensions between the administration and students. They advocate for more dialogue and mediation to address conflicts on campus.
