Thrissur ATM robbery case: police continue interrogation of accused

The Thrissur Town East police are questioning five accused from a Haryana-based gang that allegedly broke into three ATM kiosks in Thrissur. They are cooperating with the interrogation process, which includes collecting fingerprints and previous antecedents. The accused will be taken to the ATM site for evidence collection. One accused was shot dead by the Namakkal police, and another had to have his limb amputated. The police are also investigating cases from Irinjalakuda and Viyyur police for similar ATM break-ins. The robbers used spray paint to cover cameras and stole over ₹67 lakh. CCTV footage helped track down a container truck with the stolen money.
