A terrorist attack in Baramulla district of J&K resulted in the deaths of two soldiers and two civilian porters, with three other soldiers injured. The area has been cordoned off, and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah condemned the attack. This incident is unusual for the typically peaceful region of Gulmarg and its surrounding areas. Prior to this attack, there was an exchange of fire between forces and terrorists in the same area.
