Telangana mulling separate AI policy: IT minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu | Hyderabad News



Telangana is considering a separate AI policy to focus on how artificial intelligence can benefit everyone. The state government is looking at how AI can impact citizens and what role the government should play in regulating it. The ongoing AI summit with global experts will guide the government in navigating the future driven by AI. The state aims to achieve a $1 trillion economy with a growth rate of 12% currently, which is expected to increase to 14%-15% in the next few years, driven by AI. Suggestions have been made for the creation of a ‘Translational Research Office for AI’ to ensure that research translates into real solutions for local problems.
