The Telangana government has allocated ₹1,377.66 crore for the construction and improvement of rural roads through the Construction of Rural Roads (CRR) State Plan grant. This funding will be used to build 1,323.86 kilometres of new roads in 92 constituencies, with a focus on enhancing road connectivity in rural areas. The project includes constructing new roads and upgrading existing ones to bitumen and cement concrete standards. Minister of Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Danasari Anasuya (Seethakka) thanked the Chief Minister and announced that additional funds will be provided as needed. An extra ₹400 crore is expected to be sanctioned in the coming days for further rural road development.
