Deputy Chief Minister M. Bhatti Vikramarka visited a green hydrogen plant in Japan and announced plans to set up similar plants in Telangana. He learned about the cutting-edge technology used in green hydrogen production and battery energy storage systems. He noted that Telangana’s abundant water resources and ideal locations for solar plants make it a prime candidate for green hydrogen production. He expressed hope that Telangana would become a leading hub for green hydrogen in the country. He also proposed a joint venture with Yamanashi to introduce green hydrogen plants and BESS technology in the state.
