Members of Delhi BJP’s Sikh cell protested against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi near 10 Janpath over his comments about the Sikh community. The protesters, including women, tried to approach Gandhi’s residence but were stopped by police. Gandhi had accused the RSS of considering some religions inferior and highlighted the importance of religious freedom, mentioning Sikhs specifically. The protesters demanded an apology from Gandhi for allegedly humiliating Sikhs and blamed Congress for the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
