Former Karnataka Chief Minister and BJP Parliamentary Committee member BS Yediyurappa accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of being involved in the MUDA scam and claimed that he will soon face jail time. Yediyurappa demanded that the case be handed over to the CBI for investigation. He expressed confidence in winning the upcoming by-elections and urged voters to support BJP candidate Bangaru Hanumantha. The event also featured the presence of former Minister Janardhana Reddy and Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy.
