The city of Gandhinagar is set to showcase its rich temple heritage through the ambitious Temple Link Project. The project, costing Rs 155.02 crore, will connect 35 ancient temples along a 2km trail, including iconic sites like the Jagannath Temple and Ganesh Temple. Renovation of temples, creation of temple squares and gardens, a heritage interpretation center, and a multilevel parking facility are all part of the plan. Divided into three zones, the project aims to enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the temples, restore them to their original glory, and provide detailed insights into the city’s cultural heritage. Additionally, efforts will be made to ease congestion with a new multilevel parking facility.
