Ratan Tata: Maharashtra State Skills University Renamed to Honor Ratan Tata |



The Maharashtra State Kaushalya Vidyapeeth has been officially renamed Ratan Tata Maharashtra State Kaushalya Vidyapeeth to honor the late industrialist Ratan Tata for his significant contributions to industry and skill development. Skill development minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha announced the decision, highlighting Tata’s tireless efforts in supporting the growth of new industries. The university’s founding vice-chancellor, Apoorva Palkar, noted Tata’s role in developing various sectors and creating opportunities for skill enhancement. The renaming pays tribute to Tata’s legacy and aligns with the institution’s mission to provide skilled manpower to industries.
