Ramesh Chennithala Criticizes Sabarimala Reforms, Advocates for Spot Booking |



Congress working committee member Ramesh Chennithala has written to chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan, expressing concerns about recent reforms in Sabarimala that he believes are causing hardship to devotees. He argues that the elimination of spot booking will create challenges, particularly for out-of-state pilgrims, and suggests allowing spot bookings for a certain number of pilgrims. Chennithala also calls for experienced police officers to be deployed at Sannidhanam to prevent mismanagement and criticizes the high bus fares from Nilakkal to Pamba imposed by KSRTC as unjust and monopolistic.
