Ahmedabad has been experiencing heavy rainfall for the past two days, with the eastern areas receiving the most rain. Naroda recorded the highest amount of rainfall at 3.48mm during a specific time frame. The city received a total of 82.5mm of rain in a 24-hour period. Due to the heavy rain, water levels rose in certain areas, leading to evacuations by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. Complaints of water accumulation were reported in various parts of the city. The Vasna barrage also saw an increase in water levels, with authorities opening gates to release excess water. The India Meteorological Department has issued warnings of continued heavy rain in Kerala.
