Southern Railway has announced special airconditioned trains between Tambaram and Kochuveli via Sengottai to accommodate the extra passengers during the Vinayaka Chaturthi and Onam festivals. The trains will run on specific dates in September with stops at various stations. Additionally, there is a special train between Chennai Central and Coimbatore for the Vinayaka Chaturthi festival. Advance reservations for these trains are now open.
