He noted that this is the final phase of Gunotsav, with over 12,000 schools being evaluated. Dr. Pegu expressed concern about a slight decrease in student attendance compared to previous phases and emphasized the importance of assessing infrastructure and other school needs. He also mentioned efforts to improve infrastructure and incorporate technology in schools, including providing tablets to teachers and setting up smart classrooms. Overall, the focus is on enhancing literacy and comprehension skills, especially at the lower primary level, while leveraging technology like the Shiksha Setu app for attendance tracking.
