The Karnataka High Court rejected three out of four bail petitions filed by former MP Prajwal Revanna, who has been accused of sexually harassing and raping multiple women. The court stated that he has prima facie indulged in the maraud of modesty of women. Justice M Nagaprasanna rejected the bail pleas due to concerns about the accused absconding and not cooperating with the investigation. The allegations include sexually harassing a domestic help, threatening a woman into disrobing on video calls, and involvement in a kidnapping case. The court emphasized that these actions outrage the modesty of women and noted that this was not the first time the accused was alleged to have engaged in such behavior.
