PM Modi’s scathing attack on Congress over union budget 2025



Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a dig at the Congress party ahead of the Delhi assembly polls, highlighting that under previous governments heavy taxes were imposed on people. He praised the union budget 2025 for providing relief to the middle class by not taxing income up to Rs 12 lakhs. The budget announcement by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has been well received by many. The Delhi assembly election is set for February 5, with a three-way competition between AAP, Congress, and BJP. The BJP is aiming to end its 23-year exile in the capital city.
