Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the opposition Congress party during a rally in Akola ahead of the Maharashtra assembly elections. He accused the Congress of corruption and turning states into ATMs for their ‘shahi parivar’. Modi also targeted the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance, calling them corrupt. He promised to provide permanent houses to those living in temporary shelters and recalled the significance of the Ayodhya verdict on November 9. Modi urged the people to support the Mahayuti alliance in the upcoming elections on November 20, with counting on November 23.
